I am a quantitative field ecologist. I study effects of climate change and changes in land use and land cover (urbanization and agriculture) on resident, partial-migrants and migratory bird species. I primarily answer questions related to migratory behavior, habitat preference, diet plasticity.
My doctoral work (University of Arkansas, Fayetteville) focused on effect of climate change and drought on habitat preference of shrub forest bird community. I also explored the effect of climate change and drought on anthropogenic dependence on shrub forest and its indirect effect on bird community.
